As the founder of Embat Studio, Jaume is dedicated to creating bespoke, timeless spaces that inspire and delight. With experience spanning residential renovations, new-build villas, complex developments, and large-scale projects, his portfolio is a testament to his versatile design approach and meticulous attention to detail.
Growing up in Mallorca, Jaume’s passion for design was nurtured by his grandfather, a skilled handyman who introduced him to the world of building and creativity. His childhood was filled with construction toys, sketches, and early experiments with computer graphics, setting the foundation for his career.
A Journey of Creativity & Expertise
Degree in Architecture – ETSAB, Polytechnic University of Catalonia
Postgraduate Studies in Residential Interior Design – ELISAVA
Postgraduate Studies in Hotel Interior Design – ELISAVA
After obtaining his Architecture degree and before returning to Mallorca, Jaume pursued specialized studies in interior design at ELISAVA, focusing on residential interiors and hospitality design. This deepened his understanding of spatial composition, materiality, and human-centered design, complementing his architectural expertise.
After completing his education, Jaume returned to Mallorca, where he worked in several architecture and design studios. Through hands-on experience in project management, budgeting, and technical design, he refined his skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the renovation process and the power of interior transformation.
